Lion Brand DIY Glow Yarn is a fun, 100% polyester creamy white yarn that glows yellow in the dark, and is perfect for wearables and accessories that you might want to take on your ghostly night adventures or dark walks after dark, or to embellish outfits and costumes. Also great for home projects, like baskets, and amigurumi. You’ll love that your project will be easy to care for being machine washable and dryable!

Note: While this is a 100% polyester yarn, handling it, it feels towel-y I’d expect from a 100% cotton yarn. It’s also listed as a Worsted Weight Yarn, but I’m going to say it works up more like a heavier Lightweight Yarn, or lighter Worsted Weight Yarn so I’m placing it into two categories in which it appears on the website.

Set Up: Center pull skein that is ready to use!

Fiber Content: 100% Polyester

Ball Weight: 1.75 ounces / 50 grams

Yardage: 71 yards / 65 meters

Care Instructions: Machine washable in cold water on the gentle cycle, and dryable on low heat. I do recommend rolling in a towel first to press the water out, and then machine drying. Depending on the project, you may need to run it through twice and/or lay flat to dry remainder.

Knitting Gauge: 18 stitches x 24 rows = 4″

Recommended Knitting Needle Size: US 8 / 5mm

Crochet Gauge: 13 single crochets x 16 rows = 4″

Recommend Crochet Hook Size: US I9 / 5.5mm
