I’ve been DIYing and crafty for as long as I can remember, but I think the real adventure began with needlepoint on plastic canvas (thank you Aunt Arlys!) more than 10 years ago, making anything I could think up – I had (and still do) so much fun with it! In 2014, I learned how to crochet, and started my EyeLoveKnots blog to use as a journal, and share my notes and thoughts with other makers – it’s now home to free crochet patterns with focus on Home Decor, free plastic canvas patterns, free knitting patterns and pattern reviews in each of these categories as well. In the Summer of 2022, I purchased Cre8tion Crochet from Lorene, and now share all my free wearable crochet patterns over there. Fast forward to the Spring of 2024, and I’ve finally brought my dream of being a yarn shop owner to life! Yarn Crafts & Coffee has been [soft] launched inside of America’s Antique Mall in Melbourne, Florida, where I also have a home decor and resale shop that goes hand and hand with my DIY and Lifestyle blog, On Rockwood Lane.
While the yarn shop and new blog are still in it’s infancy (as of April 2024), I hope to bring you a fantastic selection of really great yarns, useful crochet and knitting supplies, fun crochet, knitting, yarn and craft themed items for yourself or gift items for fellow yarn lovers, free crochet and knit patterns and more!
