Juniper Moon Herriot Great Yarn is a soft, chunky yarn comprised of 100% Baby Alpaca that is perfect for cozy wearables, and accessories! Just keep in mind that Herriot Great projects are hand wash only, unless felted is your desired finish.

If you are looking for a similar yarn, Ella Rae Cozy Alpaca Chunky 70% Acrylic & 30% Baby Alpaca is a great alternative and about half the price. Set Up: Hank that will need to be wound into a cake. You can either do by hand or with a yarn winder, or for a fee, I can wind it into a center pull ball for you (per ball).

What is Baby Alpaca? Baby Alpaca is the softest fiber from an adult alpaca’s fleece.

Ball Weight & Yardage: 110 grams / 131 yards

Care Instructions: Hand wash in cold water. Roll in a towel to press the water out, and lay flat to dry remainder.

Knitting Gauge: 14 – 16 stitches = 4″

Recommended Knitting Needle Sizes: US 8 / 5mm – US 10 / 6mm

Crochet Gauge: 9.5 – 12.5 single crochets = 4″
