Ella Rae Cozy Alpaca Yarn is a soft yarn comprised of 70% Acrylic and 30% Baby Alpaca that is perfect for cozy wearables and accessories! Blending with acrylic adds durability, and you’ll love the ease in being machine washable.

This yarn is available for pre-order. Ella Rae is a new brand for the Yarn Crafts and Coffee Yarn Shop (though personally, I have used several of the lines and absolutely love it!) so I am taking pre-orders to build up my stock with all your favorites. I will gather all of the sales, and place one big order on February 17th. I should receive the yarn in my cat friendly studio about 2 weeks later, and then I will turnaround and ship it out to you so expect about 3 weeks but up to 4 weeks from February 17th for your order to ship (ie middle of March).

For any yarns/colorways that are not available as of my order date, I will reach out individually via email to see if you’d like me to put it on re-order or cancel and refund that portion of your order – I won’t know until I receive my order what is on backorder. If you’ve ordered enough to qualify for free shipping, you will still receive it on your current order regardless of whether or not yarns have been cancelled by me from your order, and I will honor it on a future order that includes any yarns you opted for re-order on.

Set Up: Hank that will need to be wound into a cake. You can either do by hand or with a yarn winder, or for a fee, I can wind it into a center pull ball for you (per ball).

What is Baby Alpaca? Baby Alpaca is the softest fiber from an adult alpaca’s fleece.

Ball Weight & Yardage: 100 grams / 178 yards

Care Instructions: Machine washable in cold water on the delicate cycle. Roll in a towel to press the water out, and lay flat to dry remainder.

Knitting Gauge: 16 – 20 stitches = 4″

Recommended Knitting Needle Sizes: US 7 / 4.5mm – US 9 / 5.5mm

Crochet Gauge: 11 – 14 single crochets = 4″

Recommend Crochet Hook Sizes: 7 / 4.5mm – I9 / 5.5mm
