Description

A needle minder is an important craft tool used to hold your tapestry or yarn needle while you are not using it so it doesn’t roll away and get lost in between uses. It has a magnetic on both sides, and in between you can place a card, a thin piece of fabric or nothing and just set the needle minder down on your table.

Being located in Central Florida, I couldn’t think of a better icon than a Flamingo at the beach to start out the Yarn Crafts & Coffee adventure with! Our yarn shop located inside America’s Antique Mall in Melbourne, Florida is only 20 minutes away from the beach!

You’ll have your choice between a round shape, or a rectangle shape with wavy edges (my personal favorite!).

Measurements:

The Round Needle Minder is approximately 1 1/8″ – 1 1/4″ in diameter.

The Rectangle Needle Minder is approximately 1″ – 1 1/8″ wide by 1 1/2″ – 1 5/8″ tall.

Materials:

Polymer clay is sculpted and added around a magnet for both the front and back pieces, and baked. Sculpey Gloss Glaze is used to seal the finished clay portion.

Clay hooks, needle minders and stitch markers are all handmade, and since some of the clay colors are mixed together to get different shades, you may receive a product in which the colors looks a little bit different, especially when it comes to the beach sand. If you are interested in a set, whether that be multiple crochet hooks or a crochet hook, needle minder and a couple stitch markers, it’s best to order it together so it can be matched similarly to the lot number of yarns. Custom orders can also be done to ensure the same clay mixture is used – feel free to reach out!
