Berroco Vintage Sock Yarn is a lovely, soft and durable yarn comprised of 52% Acrylic, 40% Wool, and 8% Nylon that is perfect for warm and soft, lightweight wearables and accessories, especially socks but not limited to! The acrylic, wool and nylon work together to produce a versatile, workhorse yarn for everyday items that are sure to become favorites! You’ll also love the ease in being machine washable!

If you’re interested in different weights, Vintage also comes in DK (Lightweight #3), Worsted Weight (#4) and Chunky (#5). I’ve tried my best to carry the same colorways throughout each weight in case you were trying to match another project you’ve made, especially if working on matching sets.

This yarn is available for pre-order. Berroco is a new brand for the Yarn Crafts and Coffee Yarn Shop (though personally, I have used several of the lines and absolutely love it!) so I am taking pre-orders to build up my stock with all your favorites. I will gather all of the sales, and place one big order on October 21st. I should receive the yarn in my cat friendly studio about 2 weeks later, and then I will turnaround and ship it out to you so expect about 3 weeks but up to 4 weeks from October 20th for your order to ship (ie middle of November).

For any yarns/colorways that are not available as of my order date, I will reach out individually via email to see if you’d like me to put it on re-order or cancel and refund that portion of your order – I won’t know until I receive my order what is on backorder. If you’ve ordered enough to qualify for free shipping, you will still receive it on your current order regardless of whether or not yarns have been cancelled by me from your order, and I will honor it on a future order that includes any yarns you opted for re-order on.

Set Up: Center pull ball that is ready to use!

Fiber Content: 52% Acrylic, 40% Wool, 8% Nylon

Ball Weight: 3.5 ounces / 100 grams

Yardage: 437 yards / 400 meters

Care Instructions: Turn item inside out before washing. Machine washable in cold water on the delicate cycle. Roll in a towel to press the water out, and lay flat to dry remainder.

Knitting Gauge: 6 1/4 – 7 1/2 stitches = 1″; 25 – 30 stitches x 34 – 40 rows = 4″

Recommended Knitting Needle Size: US 2 / 2.75mm – US 4 / 3.5mm

Crochet Gauge: 6 – 7  1/2 stitches = 1″; 24 – 30 stitches x 30 – 36 rows = 4″

Recommend Crochet Hook Size: B2 / 2.25mm –  E4 / 3.5mm
