Berroco Lumi Yarn is a soft, lightweight, shimmer yarn comprised of 80% Cotton, 18% Polyester and 2% Other Fibers that is perfect for when you want to have just a little more romance and glitz! With it’s lightweight nature, it’s more recommended for Spring through Fall, but you can easily dazzle during the holidays too! Just keep in mind, Berroco Lumi Yarn projects are hand wash only.

Tip: Alternate balls every two rows or rounds to avoid patterning with this beautiful yarn.

Pre-Order Details:

This yarn is available for pre-order. Berroco is a new brand for the Yarn Crafts and Coffee Yarn Shop (though personally, I have used several of the lines and absolutely love it!) so I am taking pre-orders to build up my stock with all your favorites. Looking at the photos, the ones of 3 balls of yarn together are ones I’ve received for my shop in the past. Other yarn swatches will be new to the shop if ordered. I will gather all of the sales, and place one big order on August 19th. I should receive the yarn in my cat friendly studio about 2 weeks later, and then I will turnaround and ship it out to you so expect about 3 weeks but up to 4 weeks from August 19th for your order to ship (ie middle of September).

For any yarns/colorways that are not available as of my order date, I will reach out individually via email to see if you’d like me to put it on re-order or cancel and refund that portion of your order – I won’t know until I receive my order what is on backorder. If you’ve ordered enough to qualify for free shipping, you will still receive it on your current order regardless of whether or not yarns have been cancelled by me from your order, and I will honor it on a future order that includes any yarns you opted for re-order on.

Set Up: Cone that is ready to use! You may want to pull out your cone stand or yarn bowl to work with Lumi. The yarn does come with a rubber band around it, underneath the sleeve, and that’s to hold the strands in place as they slip off easily.

Fiber Content: 80% Cotton, 18% Polyester, 2% Other Fibers

Ball Weight: 1.75 ounces / 50 grams

Yardage: 137 yards / 125 meters

Care Instructions: Hand wash in cold water. Roll in a towel to press the water out, and lay flat to dry remainder.

Knitting Gauge: 5 1/2 stitches = 1″; 22 stitches x 30 rows = 4″

Recommended Knitting Needle Size: US 5 / 3.75mm

Crochet Gauge: 5 single crochets = 1″; 20 single crochets x 24 rows = 4″

Recommend Crochet Hook Size: G6 / 4mm
