Scissors are an essential tool in a multitude of crafts, including crocheting, knitting, cross stitching and needlepoint to name a few. Depending on your needs, we offer a small variety of scissor options, including a pair of folding scissors that fit perfectly in even the tiniest of bags, a pair of lightweight, all-purpose scissors that are great from cutting plastic canvas mesh to trimming yarn ends after weaving in to cutting out the birthday card you will include with your handmade gift and a pair of heavier duty scissors that have a comfortable, ergonomic handle.

Caution: All of these scissors are sharp and carry the risk of injury, including but not limited to cutting and pricking fingers, so please use and store with caution and they are not recommended for children.

Note: This product is new to the shop. We have enjoyed using these tools, and are now opening for pre-orders as we build our inventory slowly. Once your order is placed on our website, we may need to order the color/quantity chosen. We receive it in approximately 1 week from our supplier in Mississippi, and will ship out immediately to you. The Folding Scissors are perfect for on-the-go projects where you might not have enough room to bring your full size scissors. These fold up scissors are compact when you need them to be, but open up perfectly to help trim your ends as you’re weaving or cut a strand of yarn for plastic canvas. Caution: sharp points! The points and blades are covered when folded so your projects, fingers and bags are safe in travel, but they are more pointy than the other scissors in this listing. Note: They are a little tougher to fold and unfold, but I think it really helps them stay opened and closed, and they will loosen up a bit more with use.

The Westcott Titanium Scissors are lighter weight, one of the reasons I like them as a pair of all purpose scissors that I use for cutting out my plastic canvas shapes, trimming the ends off after weaving in the ends of a crochet project and cutting out care tags to include with my handmade gifts. These scissors are highly resistant to rust and corrosion and with the titanium covered core, to they will stay sharper and stand the test of time. The inside of the handles are contoured finger holes with a slight softness, though not cushioned.
